After a lifetime of working on classical Jewellery in Colombia, he slowly shifted his carrer path in his later years. However, influenced by more contemporary designs of Carlota Bentham, with whom he collaborated for many years, in this transition he decided to have an experimental approach that gave him joy and designed this series of rings. He was initially inspired by all his times at the sea, where he loved sailing and fishing whenever he could.

Spending his last couple of decades, living by the Caribean Sea with Mountains of jungle behind, these rings area poems of these times, landscapes, full of sensorial expression, chunkyyet comfortable original and sculptural.

He passed away at the end of the year in 2024 and I am tresuring the gifts he gave me and happy share the ones that have been left behind
